Everybody is photogenic! A good photograph is a combination of good lighting, posing and expression, all of which I am confident in. I will guide you as we go and explain what kind of poses and expressions work best. Don’t worry, you’re in safe hands!

Yes. I remove temporary “imperfections” such as spots and blemishes, as well as evening out skin tones, discolouration in teeth and eyes. I will also remove stray hairs. Images will be enhanced with some basic tone and contrast. The point of retouching is to make you look even better and to reduce distractions.

I do not give out unedited images. This is to maintain quality control over my images as well as ensure that you look your best!

Consider what your headshot is being used for. Wear something that portrays the impression you want people/potential clients to have of you. For example, if your headshot is for the corporate sector, wear something that you would wear to an interview or a client meeting.

Wear something that is comfortable; this is key!

Ensure that your clothing fits you well and is not too small or too big as this will be obvious in your images.

Avoid bright and contrasting colours with patterns and text. Keep it simple with solid, neutral colours.

Avoid shiny jewellery (and clothing) that will reflect light and distract from you.

Although not an absolute necessity, booking a professional makeup appointment prior to your headshot session is recommended, particularly for women. Why? A headshot will often be your first impression, whether for employers, clients, or colleagues. Therefore, you should be prepared to look like your very best self! Professional make up artists can help cover blemishes, balance skin tones and more, so that you look and feel your absolute best.

Absolutely! Just send me over some images or a moodboard of the types of images you like.

I will then send you a contact sheet sheet the same day for you to make selections. Your finished images will be provided within 1 - 3 days.

I will send you a link to your online gallery where you can view and make your selections.

Things in life crop up and sometimes we get ill, so please let me know me at least 48 hours before your session so that we can reschedule. If you feel as if you’re getting ill, please give me a heads up. Last minute cancellations and no shows will result in the loss of your deposit.
